Our collection is housed in the Spoorhuis (Railroad House) of Vinkeveen — a beautifully restored 1915 railway station located just south of Amsterdam. Once a stop on the now-forgotten line between Amsterdam and Utrecht, the station has been transformed into a quiet sanctuary for historical artefacts. Owner Gert Tetteroo, who studied history at the University of Amsterdam, lives and works here — surrounded by stories of the past, preserved in both paper, film, writing and brick.
Gert has been a lifelong collector of rare maps, prints, and historic objects. The pieces offered on this site come from his personal collection as well as from a few close friends and fellow collectors. Together, they have selected works that deserve to be passed on, shared, and cherished.
You can learn more about Gert and his projects at tetterman.com, or discover the location and history of the venue itself at hetspoorhuis.nl.
